aspects
The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. They provided us with useful information about the local attractions and recommended good places to eat. the receptionist went out of his way to make us feel welcome, even offering to make us a delicious Italian coffee. the ambiance of the hostel was unique and peaceful, providing a calm retreat-like atmosphere.
Aspects. Unfortunately, the shower heads in the hostel were in need of de-scaling, which affected the water pressure and overall shower experience. there was a lack of communal spaces to lounge in the evening, as most guests seemed to either be out exploring the city or retiring early.

We had a wonderful stay in this hostel. the location was excellent, with all the main attractions within walking distance. the employees were very friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome. We stayed in a room with a private bathroom, which was recently renovated and had all the necessary amenities. the courtyard was a great place to relax and the kitchen was well equipped for our cooking needs.
The Wi-Fi connection was a bit unreliable at times.

Difficult to find due to confusing streets and canals. Bathroom was small and not very clean.

As a solo traveler, I loved the friendly and accommodating staff at the hostel. They allowed me to drop off my luggage early and provided a list of places to visit in Venice. the location was convenient, only a 12-minute walk from the Santa Lucia train station and about 20 minutes from St Mark's Square. the hostel had a well-stocked industrial-style kitchen and plenty of communal spaces to relax and socialize with other guests. the lockers in the rooms were spacious, and there was even free water available to refill my water bottle. the showers and bathrooms were clean, and the twin-sized beds in my room were comfortable. I felt safe and would definitely choose to stay here again.
Felt lucky, no complaints at all.

The hostel is conveniently located, just a short walk away from major attractions and in a quiet area. the surrounding gardens are beautifully kept, providing a calm and peaceful atmosphere. the new management has successfully restored the ancient convent, blending the old with the new. the rooms are comfortable, equipped with lockers and fans for a pleasant stay. the staff is knowledgeable and friendly, offering insights into the history of the area.
The initial room we were assigned was not well-maintained and the bathroom was unpleasant. the inconvenience of having to check out and check back in the next day was frustrating, with no compensation offered for the inconvenience.

The room was spacious and had large lockers, which made it easy to store all our belongings. The location was prime, with a main street and bus stop nearby, making it convenient to explore the city. It also felt safe to take a walk at night or in the early morning.
The bathroom could have been cleaner, and there were some empty wrappers in the room upon arrival. we were asked to leave the room 15 minutes before check-out time, which slightly dampened our stay.

For the price, we got great value for our money at this hostel. The twin room with a private bathroom was spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect - close to all the main attractions, yet situated in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The staff treated us well and check-in was convenient at 2pm.
The breakfast offerings could be improved with more variety.

The hostel provided a spacious and relaxing atmosphere with plenty of common areas for cooking, eating, and socializing. the hostel's location was convenient, being within walking distance from the transportation hub and a short distance from the vaporetto stop. the price-quality ratio was also great, offering good value for the money spent.
One notable downside was the lack of air conditioning, making it difficult to sleep comfortably during the hot summer days in Venice. some guests experienced discomfort due to bed structures being unstable, causing the lower bunk to shake whenever the person in the top bunk moved.

The hostel had a great location, close to the train station and bus stop, making it easy to navigate with luggage. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing detailed information on the best places to visit. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable, providing a good night's sleep. Additionally, the hostel had a well-equipped kitchen with free pasta and spices available for guests to use.
There were some inconveniences during my stay. The bathroom situation was a bit difficult to manage, with only one shower available for a few people.

Our stay at this hostel was a great value for the price we paid. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with fans to keep us cool at night. The location was perfect, with easy access to the train station and a bus stop nearby. The staff was friendly, helpful, and always had a smile on their faces. The hostel also had excellent security measures in place. The highlight for us was the amazing atmosphere in the evenings, just a couple of minutes away from a popular canal where locals gather to enjoy wine. Highly recommended for young travelers!
The morning meal could have been better with more variety of options.
